“For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:13-14 It’s easy to see why this verse resonates so deeply with the pro-life movement—it powerfully affirms the value and dignity of every human life, from womb to tomb. But beyond that, it also reveals a profound truth: there are no true atheists. Because of how God has created us, every part of our being—down to the deepest places of our souls—knows, whether acknowledged or not, that God is real. Our very existence, our breath, and our purpose come from Him and depend on Him. As the Apostle Paul boldly proclaimed to the pagans on Mars Hill in Athens, “For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said…” —Acts 17:28 This verse is a powerful reminder that God’s presence is undeniable, woven into the fabric of our existence. Whether we recognize it or not, our lives are sustained by Him, and He calls every heart to seek and know Him. |
